20. Too bad they tore down their history
and moved into a new park. Too bad for them (says the sniggering Red Sox fan.)

7. Yes, I'm from Michigan.
I live near Grand Rapids.

Why doesn't Grand Rapids have a professional baseball team? Because then Detroit would want one!

Thats good man I liked that, but Ive been told by folks that the tigers have the same owner as your hockey team and he spends a bunch on them but zippo on the tigers. BTW my owner sucks too. My area could have one soon but Petey Angelos may bitch and though hes a dem contribuator I hate him no idea who he supports I would presume Edwards being that hes a lawyer and the like. But on basketball and hockey Detroit is good. Football not very good right. So did Mike Maroth say that he wants George Allen to be president? You know our little joke about George the Jerk.

13. A little thing about the Red Wings
You're right - the Tigers and Wings have the same owner, Mike Illitch (sp?)!

The Wings acquired Darien Hatcher, but lost Sergei Federov. They also have their former goalie back from retirement, Dominik Hasek. So the Wings have two star goalies, Hasek and Curtis Joseph.

Why two star goalies, sounds like the wings are the yankees of hockey just my observation.

6. Trammell pulled Bonnerman* out of the rotation
he could do lose 20 too with 18 loses. The 2003 Detroit Tigers easily the worst team in my lifetime.

15. Instead of speeding tickets in Detroit, the police are giving out tickets
to home games. We are now just hoping they lose their last so they can break at least one record this year.

16. Ack!
Oh, apparently the thread should be titled "The Tigers are 46 games out of the W.C. spot - ask me anything".

I wonder what Brian Kingman will do now.

17. Make that 47 out of the wild card
They lost 1-0 in ten innings at Toronto last night.
John
Who is personally 0-6 for games attended at Comerica Park this season. Oh, well -- the Lions open their season in twenty minutes. Time for me to make sure the gas is still on in the oven.
