So who's reading Kitty Kelley's book?

I got it from Costco yesterday (great prices on hardcovers there). I'm only up to chapter 5 but it's a really fascinating read.

2. I stopped in B&N for another reason last night...

...and heard a straight-laced looking woman ask for the KK book. She could only find ONE on the display table. Later I saw her check out with TWO copies of the book.

5. I'm reading it. I skipped a lot of the beginning chapters.

I wanted to get right to the meat! I'll read about Prescott later.

Kitty regurgitates a lot of things that we here at DU have known for years, but may not be known to the general public. She cites actual people for many of the unflattering commments and anecdotes, so the claims that she is spreading unsubstantiated gossip are not really true (at least so far).

It's a good, quick read. I haven't gotten to anything real juicy yet, but Bush Sr. was definitely an absentee father, and Young George was/is WAAAAY too attached to his mother!

I got Seymour Hersh's book too. I'm up to Chapter Six in "The Family". I'm enjoying it so far.
