Eureka!! I found a way to protect my yard signs
from theft. I sprayed the whole sign (both sides) and the posts with Canola Oil Cooking Spray. I've already had 2 stolen and have noticed alot of them missing around town. Wonder if I should write an editorial for the local paper about Bush folks being theives...hmmmm.

1. I did.
Of course my rightwingnut paper didn't post it. But I wrote one anyway. I'm on my second Kerry sign. Last time I went to Dem headquarter in my town I told them what happend and they gave me a couple extra for back-ups.

6. And stains your clothes
oil stains are a bitch to get out of clothes.

I think something sticky, stinky, and colorful would be more appropriate though.

4. great idea! Now if I could just figure out.....
If only there was something I could add to the oil that would make a persons hand itch or turn red when touching the sign.

11. I wonder if it would help to sprinkle a little bit of cayenne pepper
over the oil. The vandals would regret their actions after the first time they touched their face.
