AOHell Question

What does this mean, exactly? I've never gotten a returned e-mail like this before...I don't have AOL, I go through a local internet service provider, but the person the e-mail was sent to does...

e-mail addys & ISP's removed to protect the guilty. ;)

1. interpretation

It means that for some reason, AOL hasn't delivered your email yet, but it will keep trying. "Transient, non-fatal errors" would mean that the email address is correct and that whatever the problem is it should be temporary.

I have no idea why they send these out. I suppose if it were a vital, life-and-death business email you now have proof that you sent it.

I think I'd ignore the "YOU DO NOT NEED TO RESEND YOUR MESSAGE" and go ahead and resend the message.

With all the spam and blocking programs on e-mail, these kinds of messages always make me paranoid. Especially if e-mail is the only way I have of contacting someone...:wow:
