Hello, Its Me
Artist: The Isley Brothers
Writer: Todd Rundgren

Hello, it's me, I've thought about us for a long, long time
Maybe I think too much but something's wrong
there's something here that doesn't last too long.

Maybe I shouldn't think of you as mine.
Seeing you, or seeing anything as much as I do you,

I take for granted that you're always there,
I take for granted that you just don't care.

Sometimes I can't help seeing all the way through.

It's important to me
that you know you are free

Cause I never want to make you change for me
Think of me, you know that I'd be with you if I could
I'll come around to see you once in a while
or if I ever need a eason to smile and spend the night if you think I should

It's important to me
that you know you are free

Cause I never want to make you change for me
Think of me you know that I'd be with you if I could

I'll come around to see you once in a while
or if I ever need a reason to smile and spend the night if youthink I should
Think of me...think of me...think of me

2. Motoring...
What the hell is up with that song by Night ranger and what does it mean?

Sister Christian
Oh the time has come
And you know that you're the only one
To say O.K.
Where you going
What you looking for
You know those boys
Don't want to play no more with you
It's true

You're motoring
What's your price for flight
In finding mister right
You'll be alright tonight

Babe you know
You're growing up so fast
And mama's worrying
That you won't last
To say let's play
Sister Christian
There's so much in life Don't you give it up
Before your time is due
It's true
It's true yeah

Motoring
What's your price for flight
You've got him in your sight
And driving thru the night
Motoring
What's your price for flight
In finding mister right
You'll be alright tonight

Motoring
What's your price for flight
In finding mister right
You'll be alright tonight
(repeat)

Sister Christian
Oh the time has come
And you know that you're the only one
To say O.K.
But you're motoring
You're motoring

3. Yet another reason why...
...rock lyrics, as poetic as they may be, STILL ain't poetry.

Further proof:

DON'T STOP BELIEVIN'
Words & Music by Journey

Just a small town girl living in alonly world
She took the midnight train going anywhere
Just a city boy born and raised in South Detroit
He took the midnight train going anywhere

A singer in a smoky room the smell of wine and cheap parfume
For a smile they can share the night.
It goes on and on and on and on

Strangers waiting up down the boulevard.
Their shadows searchin in the night
Streetlight people living to find emotion
Hiding somewhere in the night

Working hard to get my fill everybody wants a thrill
Payin anything to roll the dice. Just one more time.
Some will win some will lose some were born to sing the blues.
Oh the movie never ends. It goes on and on and on and on...

Don´t stop believing.
Hold on to the feeling.
Streetlight people.

4. It sounds like it's about a young woman living life in the fast lane
but still trying to find the right guy.

8. I love that song
the Nazz version is really nice.

I also like Todd's "A Dream Lives on Forever"...

A million old soldiers will fade away
But a dream goes on forever
I'm left standing here, I've got nothing to say
All is silent within my dream

A thousand true loves will live and die
But a dream lives on forever
The days and the years will go streaking by
But the time has stopped in my dream

We all have our everyday hopes and fears
And you'll find no exception in me
But that doesn't get me through a sea of tears
Over life's biggest tragedy

You're so long ago and so far away
But my dream lives on forever
I guess I believe that I'll see you one day
For without it there is no dream

You're so far away and so long ago
But my dream goes on forever
And how much I loved you you'll never know
'Til you join me within my dream
