Firefox 1.0 PR released!! Go and get it!

On edit: this is the Preview release, so it's not a final release candidate. But it is a 1.0 :) Careful of your extensions though. People who already have Firefox installed might want to hold off until your extensions are updated....

New users though..go grab it...seriously...so much better and safer than IE.

2. I agree...
Firefox rocks and for all your email needs: Thunderbird 0.8. Much nicer and safer the Outlook.

3. I love the added features to the Find feature
Edited on Tue Sep-14-04 09:22 AM by salvorhardin
Want to find something on a web page you're already viewing?

Hit the '/' key or Ctrl-F and a Find bar will appear at the bottom of your window.
Now just type what you're looking for. Firefox will match the first instance it finds on the page and you can hit 'Enter' to go to the next instance... or you can click the Highlight button and all instances of whatever you typed will be highlighted on the page.

4. You may also want to give Thunderbird a try
The newest version of the Mozilla Thunderbird standalone e-mail application was also released today. The sane and safe alternative to Outlook Express. It'll even import all your Outlook Express settings, mail and addresses.
