Joe Hoeffel walked into a bar ... and it hurt (bah dum-dum). No, really - he was out campaigning and stopped in a little gay bar to drum up some love, where I happened to be having a drink with a male co-worker. Joe approached and politely asked for a moment of time ... and my rather flamboyant friend sized him up and irritably responded "Hello? We're having a conversation!". I almost fell off my chair. After I explained that the man is running for senator, he toned down the attitude a bit - and by the end of the night, I had his promise he'd vote for Joe.
