11. I'm beginning to doubt that the first picture I put up was even a daffodil
- looked more like a yellow rose to me. So I replaced it with a different picture.

7. The Rose
The petals show its beauty, the thorns, that even beauty can have parts that aren't beautiful. When the rose is gone, the scent can remain.

17. roses
Seems trite, I know, but once I started growing them, I understood what all the fuss was about.

Daffodils are my favorite bulb. Reliable and always cheerful. Daylillys are great for the same reason.

Wish I knew how to post pics :(

If the picture's on the internet already, you can just copy-paste

the image url. You can find the image url by right-clicking on a picture and clicking "Properties" in the dropdown menu.

If the picture is on your computer, but not on the 'net, you will need find a host somewhere on the 'net. I suggest http://www.photobucket.com , which offers free image hosting. :D

Hope this helps. :hi:

19. Our town has a Daffodil Parade every year...
We used to be the daffodil capital before they paved all the fields.

I'm more a rose fancier myself. I like the colors and the smell.

27. I agree...
it is a great flower, and the scent is great. I have 4 bushes along the front of my house. When they are in bloom, the entire front of my house has that sweet aroma...Kevin.

Coronation gold. It has to do with it's sturdyness and smell. It never fails to come up here in WI. even after awful winters.

Flowers are great: daffodils, pansies, roses especially, but for me the most beautiful are orchids.
