Has Ken Jennings' 'Jeopardy!' Run Ended?
LOS ANGELES - Has Ken Jennings ended his "Jeopardy!" streak? A report posted Wednesday on TV Week's Web site said the brainy software engineer lost in a show taped Tuesday, walking away after his 75th straight game with about $2.5 million overall in cash and prizes. The magazine cited unidentified sources and said the show would air later this fall.

A representative for the show told TV Week that it would not disclose whether Jennings lost.

Calls late Wednesday by The Associated Press to "Jeopardy!" publicist Jeff Ritter and to the show's production offices were not immediately returned.

Jennings, 30, of Salt Lake City, began his record-breaking run June 2, with a six-week hiatus for summer reruns.

After winning the show that aired Wednesday, his 41st, he had amassed $1,380,661

3. good. I stopped watching Jeopardy because of him
Very annoying, they should cap it at a month or 20 episodes or something reasonable.

4. I know for sure...
I have a friend who's sister just made it on the show and it taped yesterday or the day before (she lost bigtime). She said Ken was no longer on it.

5. But did he lose, or walk away on his own...

75 shows, and $2.5 million are nice numbers at which to stop. I wouldn't be surprised if he just felt that he had won enough, and it was time for someone else to have a chance.

I've watched a few times, and he is freakin unbeatable.

Unless he gave the answer "Who are three people that have never been in my kitchen"... :)

8. Yeah, I was really pissed when I read that on CNN.com this morning.
Some of us have actually enjoyed watching Ken Jennings win all that money, and I've been rooting for him all along. I don't understand why so many people seemed to want him to fail. He got on the show, and he could play the game really well. What the hell's wrong with that? And CNN seems to think EVERYONE hates him and wants to see him lose, or else they wouldn't have ruined the surprise of his losing for everyone.
