A Nigerian Prince wants to send me $25M
All he needs is my bank account and transfer numbers. Isn't that nice of him?

1. Go for it!
What have you got to lose?

I heard from him a few years ago and always regretted that I didn't respond. How different my life would be!

2. I know somebody who gave that scam a try
He knew it was a scam but he figured he'd see how far it could go. He gave them a bank account number with no money in it. All seemed to be going according to planned for awhile. He corresponded with the "prince's" representative a few times. Then, shortly before my friend was set to get his cut, he was asked to donate several hundred dollars in "gifts" before getting his money. My friend said he'd be happy to--after he got his money. The scammer said it had to be the other way around. At that point they called it all off.

6. yeah but he dint play the game right
First, he should have verified that the person he was speaking with was not just a scammer by e-mailing him the ancient family crest symbol, which looks remarkably like a large erect penis, and having him take a photo with it.

Then he should have insisted that his accountant had already spoken with their clearing house, but they had had a disagreement and he was going to simply show up there in person and kill everyone in the bank and take the money to avenge all the wrongs that had been done. At this point, he should offer to abduct the Chieftain and bring him to america, the land of opportunity, to run one of his other major companies.

First however, it is important to note that he is unable to go into direct sunlight because of a severe allergy that had been in his family for some time. He also has strict dietary requirements and must drink rabbit blood.

A week or two later, his "butler" should contact the chief and tell him there's been a dreadful mishap, when he accidentally opened the drawing room curtains and Mr. Barnabas burst into flames and expired upon the spot.

However the Butler is willing to conclude the deal but first must go on a pilgrimage to the Artesian forests of northern Lithumbria to leave a black rose at the shrine of his great great grandmother Hilda. .. okay you can drag these out forever, the butler gets killed by a wild bear and his daughter offers to fly to Africa, but first she must scatter his ashes over the three rivers dam in China and perform a secret hindoo ceremony where the high priest gives her a 200 carat diamond which she will be bringing with her directly from India since she won't have time to go back to the u.S. and place it in the statue of Kali in the main ballroom of the house.

5. you must go to scam-o-rama and reply to him
It's called "scam baiting" and it is a pasttime for some of us.

Read the basic safety rules. It's a very entertaining activity and you can often get photos, adopt them, and obtain death certificates noting cause of death as "died in a ghastly car accident", or even offer to meet with them in Amsterdam bearing suitcases full of cash.

Priceless.
