New DU "Foot in bucket of ice" record!!
4 HOURS!

Why? You ask.

Well I was helping my wife take the laundry down the block and as I was carrying the laundry basket I stepped off the porch landed wrong on the brick walkway. I could feel my ankle turning about 90 degrees and quickly dropped the basket and jumped in the air-my ankle was fine.

We took the cats to the vet yesterday and used the opportunity to bug bomb the apartment. I got home early to vacuum and wipe everything down and we had to wash the bed linens of course-man that king size comforter is HUGE!

The cats got washed and claws trimmed, that with all the scent changes in the apartment has caused the girl cat to not recognize where she was or who any of us (Me, Mrs.Underpants, or the older boy cat) were. She was coming around this morning.

My foot (top of foot and plantar fasciitis) started hurting a bit about 10PM and when my Indian alarm clock went off at 2:30 AM I almost fell on the floor in pain when I got out of bed.

So I brought the top of a cake pan to work and filled two plastic grocery bags full of ice from the ice machine and.......

:wow: WOW is that getting COLD! :evilfrown:

I'm so proud.

1. Just read in Runners magazine
that a woman's tip for cool down was to fill a bathtub with cold water and ice and sit there for 30 minutes. I would have a vagina by then.

3. 'Indian alarm clock'?
What? Vishnu hits the little bell with all four arms? Ganesh trumpets? Please elaborate :)

5. Oh you know what that is
Don't you?

Indian alarm clock- that middle of the night/early morning call to relieve the bladder. Native Americans supposedly used to drink a lot of water the night before an attack or raid so they would be woken up early by their own bodies.
