3. If you play one line from Bob Dylan's "If Dogs Run Free"
from the "New Morning" album backwards, the line that follows "oh winds that blow my hair to thee" which sounds like "Slow bear, slomth bee," it says "If Mars Invades Us."

Absolutely true. I did this many times as a kid and it kept me from sleeping a lot.

4. If you say "Jesus" backwards, it sounds like "sausage."
Totally true.

Also, you can sing the lyrics to "Amazing Grace" to the tune of the theme from "Gilligan's Island," and vice versa. Also totally true.

I had a student tell me I was sacriligious for even pointing out the latter (in a lesson about poetic meter and structure).

5. I broke my dad's turntable
as a kid, playing just about every record he had backwards, looking for hidden messages. I heard a lot of weird ones, and it used to give me nightmares.

Mark Mothersbaugh of Devo once played a record of someone saying "I love Jesus" backwards and heard "We Smell Sausage."

The Dylan one above sounds like unintelligible syllables when played frontwards, like he swallowed the line or couldn't come up with a decent rhyme. Play it backwards, though, and you get "If Mars Invades Us."

Very scary.

The only male I ever had wet dreams about was the Prophet Muhammed.

11. "It's Faaaat Albert!" = "I looove Satan!"
No joke. Back in college, I was cueing up a TV Tunes record for my radio show. I used to use the Fat Albert theme for a music bed when I read the news. That's how I discovered the Fat Albert-Satan connection.
