What's your "swift-boat"-style encounter with George Bush?

Mine is - I was a seven-year old girl in 1970 and I was riding my bike past a bar one morning. George Bush came out and picked a fight with me and I had to beat him up. Now I'm forming a group called "Vietnam-era Former 7-year old girls who Beat up Wimps for Truth."

What's yours? (They had a fake commercial with stories like these on Unfiltered on AA.)

but I never saw him. I did see a motorcade, but I never actually saw him . . .

In the fake Swift-boat commercial, someone knew him at KKK camp and they said he wet the bed.

3. He came to my elementary school

while we were having a spelling test. He asked to spell a word, and his word was...(you guessed it!) potato. He wrote "potatoe" on the board and everybody laughed. He tried to read a story to the class. He looked at the book and said that it was weird. One of the kids up front told him he was holding the book upside down. He said, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, you can't get fooled again and..." He laughed and decided that he had to leave.

That's my story, I'm sticking to it! :evilgrin:

5. I was also an underpriveleged kid

and he came to volunteer to help us, but he kept snorting powered sugar up his nose and then he would be very mean to us and broke up all our popsicle houses after we spent hours and hours making them. We all cried, but he just laughed at us and called us stupid little losers.

6. Dick Cheney made me late for RBNYC's birthday party

TRUE STORY.

I was driving to Philly to take the train up to NYC for RBNYC's birthday party. I was actually running a little bit early and thought I might even be able to grab an earlier train.

But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....Dick Cheney had to come to town and have all the major highways around Philadelphia shut down for his motor procession. I was stuck on I95 heading north for over an hour (I actually turned off the motor after awhile). I could see the exit for the Blue Route (anothe major Philly highway) and that traffic was backed up too.

I ended up being like an hour late for RBNYC's party

So now, I'm forming the Philly Highway Drivers for Truth!!!

7. My TRUE encounter with Dubya

It was 1975 and I was just walking down the street, minding my own business. Suddenly, a gunman appeared from nowhere and was threatening people on the street. A man grabbed me and screamed in a high, falsetto voice, "Take her not me! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!"

It was easy to see the gunman had a water pistol and not a real weapon, since the "gun" was bright red. So I shouted, "Dude, are you going to fire that watergun?" and the criminal ran off, afraid.

I turned to confront the man who had grabbed me and used me as a human shield, but he was laying on the ground in a puddle of his own urine. I wanted to kick him, but he was so pathetic I let him be helped into his limo by some girl scouts that happened to be passing by.

It wasn't until years later that I realized it was the one and only Dubya.

and i will try to get permission from the person it happened to and his story in his own words --

After boosh was selected, i had a friend who had the opportunity to actually meet him at some civic type event. Boosh was shaking hands doing the meet and greet and got to my friend, who looked at him and said most seriously, something like "I think you should have let the recounts continue so we are all sure who actually won the election" According to my friend, boosh looked at him, got mad, face reddened, eyes narrowed, and said "I don't give a shit what you think", in a low very threatening voice.

10. This is true! I swear it!

A couple years ago I was at the DC Christmas tree lighting ceremony. After Bush rambled on about "empires" and "terror", making us all freeze our butts off in the snow, I had to move around some to generate some heat. I walked toward the back end of the roped-off section, and, in between the trailers, I saw glimpses of Bush coming down off the stage. He walked back into an area where I couldn't see him, but could only hear his (and Karl Rove's) voice, so I ducked down low and kept listening while I tried to find a better view. I heard Rove say:
"Step onto the platform". Then Bush said in a monotone, "I comply".
I did finally find a small space where I could see what was going on, and what I saw was truly frightening-Bush was standing on a raised steel platform, with wires and plugs connected to his arms and chest! He was missing his left arm, which left an open metallic socket with wires coming out of it, and Rove was in the process of removing his head!
I ran away as fast as I could! I swear it's true! Our president is a robot!
