If you thought McDonald's fries were hot, wait until you see the staff.
Pretty soon you'll be able to get a good look at some of McDonald's sexiest cashiers, fryers and burger flippers, thanks to Playboy.com. The Internet arm of the men's magazine is looking for McDonald's employees to take part in its "Women of McDonald's" pictorial expected to debut in November.
Don't expect any sesame seed buns in this photo shoot.
The series follows other popular Playboy series, such as "Women of Wal-Mart," the "Women of Starbucks" and the "Women of Home Depot." Hundreds of women sent in photos for consideration for those pictorials.
"Part of the appeal for us is that it's a little unexpected with the brands that we are picking," said John Thomas, editor-in-chief of Playboy.com. "Wal-Mart and Home Depot are brands that are associated with middle America and family values, so when Playboy comes out of left field and wants to do a feature with those brands, it catches people by surprise."
Although most of the past "Women of" employers have released statements saying they did not endorse the pictorial and strongly discouraged employees from participating, they stopped short of saying they would fire any would-be Bunnies. McDonald's officials could not be reached for comment Wednesday.
