Work for local candidates, I'm sure they could use it. That's what I'm doing, since Kerry has 0 chance to win Indiana.

4. I've been volunteering for Kerry.

I'm in Mass., so we're not really campaigning here, but I did some stuff when the DNC was in town and I'm hoping to make it to canvas in NH one (or more)of these weekends. I don't have any significant local elections to get involved in this year.

5. I'm a precinct captain for the dems in Alaska, working for Tony Knowles

election. Going good even though I can't bring myself to do phone calls yet. When I did it for unions, I hated it. Got a few dead people numbers. What a phone call *THAT* was!

Tennessee. But I really think it is a true swing state this year. There are so many bumper stickers for our guy.

8. Checking in

I volunteered with the League of Conservation Voters in Milwaukee for a couple weeks this summer to help out Kerry, and last weekend I did a little work in Baton Rouge. Yesterday I sent an e-mail to the Kerry campaign volunteering to do some work in Florida (or wherever I am needed) from as soon as possible up until the election.
