That he is the leading Cy Young candidate in the American League ?

Schilling is 18-5 with at least 5 more starts.

But right now I think Santana would take it.

Schilling has one, Santana is a fresh face. Santana is the league leader in strikeouts, and is one win away from being only the second pitcher in history to go 12-0 after the all star break. Plus he is tied for the league lead in ERA, and is only one win behind Schilling after tonight.

No dis to Schilling...I'm a lifelong Twins fan, but I love the Red Sox.
