You know.... I never put bumper stickers on my car
I got a year old car, and I'm not putting any bumper stickers on it. It'll ruin the finish. The sticker will eventually fade in the hot Virginia sun. I'll never be happy with the location. It'll cause dogs and cats to sleep together. The reasons are so varied. I'm just not putting any bumper stickers on my car.

Well guess what I got today in the mail. That's right, my brand spanking new DU bumper sticker just showed up. It came with a neat little letter from Skinner. There I was in the kitchen, nodding my head in agreement with the letter in one hand and the bumper sticker in the other, when it struck me that I didn't know what I was going to do with the bumper sticker. I knew that it wasn't going on the car, because I don't put bumper stickers on the car.

So because I don't put bumper stickers on the car, i thought I'd ask you guys what would be the best place to put it. I'm leaning towards the back of the iMac, and that would be a good place, because it's not the car.

Then there's under the clear mat on my drawing broad, which is another great place, because that's not on the car.

My desk is also an excellent place, because it's not the car.

Now I thought about sticking it in the window in my home office, and even though it's not the car, MrsScorpio is scared of the freeptards.

So I have a quandary here. I'm not putting the bumper sticker on the car, but I have so many other choices.

So what should I do? Where, except the car, should I put it?

Oh, by the way... Did I tell you that I don't put bumper stickers on my car?

1. Tape them in the window. Or in some cars, you can just sit
them in the windows on the side of the car.

3. Well, I put my stickers on the rear window of my car.
When it is time for them to go, a razor blade, paper towels, glass cleaner and elbow grease gets rid of them.

But, since you don't put stickers on your car, under the clear mat is a nice idea. Or, get some magnetic backing and put it on your refrigerator.

14. Zippo lighter fluid works good, too.
It is also good at removing price tags.

10. Somehow, it looks better on your tummy...
...than mine. And, gee, I hope that's taped into place. Otherwise it's going to ruin your "finish".

5. I know you already said it but

alot of people will just tape it to the inside of the window
so as not to ruin the paint or anything.

Don't flame me!

6. You could get one
of those magnetic thingys that hold it to the car without sticking it on permanently.

My husband and I have never put stickers on our cars either until now. He has 3 now. My DU sticker went on the car the minute I got it, several others now keep it company.

Someone can hook you up with the place to get the magnets, I don't have the link but I bet the posts above or below this one will have it.

17. John
:hi:

I think you can buy those little magnets at a hobby store, perhaps a sewing store. I have not looked but they would stick on your sticker then to your locker.

18. I bought my buttons and stickers at a store at the airport
I am sure I'll find something, the stickers look tacky but what the hay, the buttons look good.

19. rear window. Easy to remove...
when you are ready.

If you are afraid of someone vandalizing your car, then go for the magnet.

Or whatever the hell you want to do with it.
