Poll question: Home Beer Question: Cans, Bottles or Kegs?
Set aside any "no glass around the pool" concerns: how do you take your beer at home?

Canned beer is a crime against beerdom. It isn't available here anyway ;-) .

4. Are you sure about that?
I've been to german gas stations a number of times to pick up beer, and they had a quite a few canned beers. My LEAST favorite is Faxe. :puke:

5. quite so
Of course there are places selling canned beer, but most supermarkets carry only bottles. The reason is that there is a 25ct deposit on cans, but only a 8ct deposit on bottles.

Faxe is Danish and infamous for the 1-liter cans and various games associated with them.

8. Ah, the pfand
It's a pain in the ass. I thought Faxe was danish, but i've never heard of any games associated with the beer. All I know is that it's gross, and a cheap way to drink yourself stupid.

2. Bottles, back when I homebrewed
but I am really intrigued by the "kegs" that are available now. I just may get back into brewing!

3. I used the kegs myself ...
Great little system from Germany. Worked well and really, really, really cut down on the bottling time and hassle.

6. Bottles
Hubby buys his in cans because they take up less room in the recycling bin. I, however, am a purist. I do not pour into a glass, either. Straight up, please. mmmmmmmm..... beer.....

7. After I voted,
I realized you didn't mean home brewing. Still glass.

9. bottles
I used to love buying kegs (economic reasons), but I read an expo about how most kegs are never cleaned out very well so I had to make the switch. Sometimes when I get a craving I will grab a few fosters oil cans, but other then that only bottles beer.
