The reason behind my "I'm the face.." thread

Knowing that we were getting close to 50,000 registered users, and I knew that we had a lot of people join in just the last week, I felt that we long timers let the new folks who we are.

It made me happy to see some new people join in too.

I know that a lot of folks nominated it for the front page. That wasn't my objective, but it would be nice. If it doesn't make it, no biggie.

It would be nice though, if the thread sticks around a little longer with more folks joining in.

My retirement will be effective 1 Apr 05.
