right at the end of our local newscast (6:00pm PST CBS SF Bay Area),
the talking head had "Breaking News" on the crawl. I was in the
middle of doing something else and had the TV on mute. I clicked
it off mute and heard "the wife of John Kerry has been admitted to
a hospital in <insert name of midwestern town... I didn't catch it>.
So now I've been on a hunt around the dial and around the internet
to see if this is a real story. So far, I can't find a damn thing.
So now I'm thinking I imagined the whole thing. All of the
24-hour snooze crap is covering nuthin but Frances... and how
SLOW it is and how BIG it is... blah blah blah... (nothing against
you folks in Florida, I know this is news, but jeeez you think they
could find a little other news to cover). Oh well. Anyway,
has ANYONE here heard that THK (or maybe JK's ex wife) checked
into a hospital, maybe in Iowa or Ohio???

I don't want to any LBN post until there is confirmation.
