My boys have to stay locked in the bedroom today.
:-(

As some of you know, we are in the middle of a massive remodel of our condo. Right now we are sleeping the guest room and our bedroom is now full of various boxes, furniture and junk.

Today they are taking out the old tile in the kitchen and laying new in the kitchen, dining room and hall.

There's way too much dust and construction going on today, so I took the kitty litter and their food and locked them in the guest room.

They looked so sweet and happy when I gave them a little kitty treat to get them in the room.

But I still feel like shit having to lock them in the room. :-(

I can't wait to get this construction done!

21. They just love each other.
When we had to take Cosmo (the black cat) to the vet last week, Ricco was standing my the car carrier meowing at him.

They DON'T like be apart.

They're brothers from the same litter.

14. God....I thought that was a euphemism! Mr. One Track Mind here.
But I understand about the kitties. That is tough keeping them locked up like that...but it is for their own good.

Let's hope the construction is over fairly quickly.

15. I was gonna ask if it would have been painful to do that...

16. How are they handling the confusion?
I find with dogs, what upsets them is when their people are gone but with cats, what upsets them is when their surroundings change. My guy, Oops, got so upset when we remodeled our bathroom. He always gets drinks out of the sink and he refused to drink out of the new one for about a month. And of course hubby and I were in there trying to sweet talk and cajole him - he's fine now but it really put him in a snit.

At least your boys have each other.

17. They're pretty good.
We had to move the litter and the food, but they we fine with it.

They've been enjoying the sometimes empty rooms and all the neat equipment to play with.

They're only a year old, so they still have that kitten thang on.
