MVP's in MLB?
It has to be Manny Ramirez in the AL.
And I hope that its not * Barry Bonds in the NL.

"*" denotes steroided.

1. It should be Adrian Beltre in the NL
but we'll see. I'd be surprised if anyone gets it whose team doesn't make the playoffs.

3. A dodger hater agrees
His living up to his potential as much or more than phony tough guy Gagne is the reason why the Dodgers are great this year. Had they not traded Mota and Loduca they would have been my bet to win the Series.

4. What about ...
What about Albert Pulholz in the National. The American League is tougher, can't say I'd go with Man-Ram even though I'm a Sox fan. I like Tory Hunter but he does not have MVP numbers, he's just a good guy.

5. Most outstanding player imho but Beltran's more valuable to his team
Dodgers are in a dead heat for the division and not five games up with out Beltran. Scott Rolen is the most valuable player on the Cards. Plays tough defense, runs the bases, hits in the clutch and hits a ton.

8. Beltre may hit 50+ HRs.
Which would be a first for a Dodger, LA or Brooklyn.
He's my choice.

9. Sheffield in the AL
The Yankees are nothing without his bat. Manny has Ortiz to back him up...

Beltre in the NL if he doesn't collapse down the stretch.
