Amusing course evaluation I received today (from RW student)
Edited on Mon Aug-30-04 04:20 PM by bluestateguy
I got back my course evaluations from the summer session today. There were mostly positive, but this comment amused me:

I did not appreciate his comments about President Bush, Fox News and WMD's. It's obvious he is a Democrat. If I wanted to listen to liberal rhetoric I would watch Fahrenheit 9/11 or CNN.

Point of information. Out of 103 students suveyed only 5 said that I did not value freedom of expression in response to that survey question. This is one of those students who will say that anytime a (liberal) instructor dares to express his opinion in class that is somehow "indoctrination".

1. Were those transcription errors
or were those misspellings in the evaluation?

3. No, those were my typos
My machine has some bug in it that won't let me use the spellcheck device on DU without posting the post twice. So I can't use it, and I make a lot of typos.

6. Thanks
Wanted to check before I ragged on the errors. They may be able to spell but they're obviously not all that bright. :)

2. Too bad he can't spell
Probably one of those people who thinks English should be the official language of the US.

I'd turn him in. That's inappropriate.

on edit: asuming he's your TA or something. If he's just a fellow student, then that's fine. He's still a dick, though.

8. And if I wanted to hear conservative rhetoric,
I would watch Fox News Channel, CNN, NBC, and ABC, or I would listen to Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill OReilley, Laura Ingrahm, etc...

But, oh yeah, the media is Liberal. I forgot...

Dumbasses...

republicans are somehow simultaneously amusing and enraging... I guess it depends on my state of mind at any given time.

9. My journalism teacher is trying to keep her political
ideology to herself. However today she did say voting third party is throwing your vote away. Seems like that is usually telling.

10. Did he enclose a fundamentalist evangelistic tract in his final paper?
I had a student do that to me once. :-)

He was basically a nice kid, just hadn't been around much.
