I simply HAVE to stop reading the stuff on the polls
I don't even go seek out the polls but I read about them and all the hand-wringing over them in the Election forum and then I end up feeling worried, even though I think those polls mean exactly DICK.

I even think that when Kerry is ahead in them, by the way. I just think you cannot tell in this election UNTIL the results are in.

So I might have to just not go to the Campaign forum at all for a while. Hell maybe even GD, too.

Anyone else having poll and people worrying themselves silly fatigue???

1. It doesn't bother me in the slightest
I take polls with a grain of salt because most of them have a sampling size that is so small it really makes them not mean a whole lot. The only thing that would worry me about polls is if Kerry were polling really low. Like say in the 30s.

2. It's not the polls that bother me
like I said, I really don't put much stock in them, anyway.

It's the near-constant handwringing over them that drives me crazy. So I am staying away, faaar away from those threads. I have a feeling the "OHMYGOD LOOK AT THIS POLL!" threads will only get worse as we get closer.

3. Well don't let them keep you away from the forums
Just ignore the poll threads or click that little "x" by them and hide them. There are plenty of good threads in those forums and I like your input to them.

4. Yeah, I have zero faith in the polls.
I don't even buy into Zogby's new format. I have just decided to tune them out.
