iPod users, help please
I just installed mine and for some weird reason, my computer wont detect it. I have windows XP if that helps.

I had a problem with this particular iPod before I reinstalled my OS a few months back. I dont know what the problem is really.

10. Are you sure you installed iTunes? have you tried computer's USB port
since firewire port on computer not working?

if that doesnt work, are you still under warranty? Then call apple.

11. Did you "restore" your iPod?
If not, try that.

You might also try uninstalling and reinstalling the device drivers for your iPod.

Also, make sure your FireWire card is working correctly too.

I don't think it exists on a PC, I could be wrong.
I think you should be using USB 2.0.
