10. A friend's son is scared of clowns too

He was born w/a club foot, and the Shriners took on his case. He had 3 surgeries, the last one when he was 3 years old. He is 9 now, and terrified of clowns.

The Shriners brought clowns to cheer up the children, he now associates pain and fear with clowns.

22. My friend has a theory about why clowns scare people...

He said that since they represent such intense, unchecked, unnatural joy, it is incredibly likely that at any moment they could turn around and become intensely and unnaturally evil. Like 1 and -1 or something.
