Why did Richard Jefferson (USA b-ball) suck so bad?
I mean the guy is a solid NBA player with good hands a nice shot and I think the nets leading scorer (or close to it)last yr.

2. Jason Kidd
Kidd makes all his players look much better than they really are.

Jefferson is a below average NBA starting player. He can't shoot a lick.

However, Kidd has the ability to get him the lball exacty where he wants it. It's no coincidennce that he became noticed once Kidd joined the Nets.

Jefferson should not have been starting on the Olympics Team. He's not half the player Shawn Marion is.

Also, I watched the bronze medal game and was very proud of the US team. With Lithuania raining threes from everywhere, the US won on work effort and determination. Allen Iverson is a fearless competitor. I enjoyed watching them tremendously.

If only that last spot had been filled with Brent Barry or Michael Redd. I think the team would have been entirely different.

4. So true. They just needed one guy who could stroke it. Would have opened
everything up. I was proud of them, too, today. It may have been a slice of humble pie -- playing for the bronze but they kept focused, and took it seriously. You usually learn more in defeat than you do in victory.

3. Okafor was a waste
I would have liked to see Kirk Heinrich from the Bulls as long as we're going to go with second tier NBA players. He's a firey player and can shoot the lights out, but I'm a biased Kansas fan. Of course if Kobe and KG and Shaq and Kidd etc are playing, we're not even talking about this.

5. Give a hand to Allan Iverson though
He had every excuse that Shaq and Kidd Ray Allen and Garnett and all the rest of the prima-donnas had, and he played anyway, and was a class act the whole way.

I have gained enormous respect for him, the smallest man on the court, playing with a broken thumb and the most heart.

6. Yeah, give it up for AI
You can tell with him that he plays to win. I've always liked him for the way he plays the game. He's much classier than alot of people think.
