I had to take out a loan from the bank of Mom and Dad, which I'll never hear the end of I'm sure. But, at least I'll have a working car (in a week) and I talked to my friend's conection about that radio gig. We didn't say much cause I was in the office, bt he called to speak to my boss about something else. OUr conversation went like this.

Him: " I spoke to Ms. Clark about your interest."
Me: "Oh yeah."
Him : "Are ya keen?"
Me: "You betcha!"
Him: "Okay I'll talk to Mike about you."
Me: "Thanks a whole lot, I mean it."

That was it. If I get it, I'll hate leaving this place so soon, but I won't miss it. I'll miss my co-workers and feel like a bastard.

Oh, wait I get it now - you're going to leave them in a lurch. We had a guy do that to me here at the paper. Walked out on deadline day. We tracked him down and killed him. So far, the body has not been discovered. He got off lightly.

BTW, when you talk about rapists and your ass hurting, it gives an altogether different impression than the one you intended.

Thanks for making me smile. For some unexplainable reason I just like you. Do you ever get that feeling about someone?
