Anyone seen the movie "What the BLEEP Do We Know?"
It stars Marlee Matlin and a white-haired Barry "Vanishing Point" Newman. It's all about the theories of quantum physics and how they can be applied to our lives to make them better.

I don't know whether I was intrigued by some of the ideas in this movie or whether I was outraged at the whole thing. There is a lot of pseudoscientific nonsense in this film, but some of the ideas in the movie seemed to make some sort of sense and ring true. Even "Ramtha" was halfway coherent, and he/she is a 35,000-year-old Atlantean channeled through a Barbara Eden lookalike on a ranch in Washington.

1. I saw, I talked, I still don't know what to think...
Certainly it was intriguing. I can even buy the theory that our chosen divinities are a product of some megaphysical phenomena.

I hate to say it, but what I got out of it is that I find Marlee Matlin a bit annoying. It has nothing to do with her deafness, either. She somehow reminds me of Nicole Kidman--also tres annoying.

3. Marlee is a good actress directed terribly badly
The whole cast was awful, like they came out of a high-school-sophomore performance of "A Funny Thing Happened...". All of the dramatic scenes in this movie had the quality of those infomercials the Mormon Church used to run every now and then, the ones that usually starred Mr. Carlson from WKRP.

5. You nailed it. Something just disturbed me so badly about the acting
that the movie didn't stick like it should have.

4. Thanks for that!
I'll be glad to see who else got clobbered by this movie.
