Poll question: What's you favorite Yankee candle scent?
I can't decide which one to burn. I always tend to go for the macintosh, plumeria or clean cotton. I was wondering what the major populace likes!

8. Yeah, me too.
I only like the kind that smell like food - buttercream, apple pie, pumpkin spice, coconut, etc. Hmmm....

5. I live 10 min. from the factory
Yankee Candle was founded here in Western MA...My fiancee used to have a roommate who worked there, and the contest was to guess the "scent of the day" from the smell of the roommate's clothes...You have to roll yr windows up if you drive by on a hot day, the smell is nauseating.

9. That'd be funny. I wonder if they ever make certain scents
for fun and give them names like that!

13. yeah that's similar isn't it.
Another favorite of mine is hazelnut but I get hungry with that one too. One that makes me absolutely nauseated, though, is that melon one. Yuck!

14. I'm allergic to most of them
(well, they make me sniffly/sneezy/etc., not necessarily allergic)

Plus, they're not good for birds, so we don't use them here.

When choosing scents, though, I tend to go for things that exist in nature -- fruit, spice, etc. instead of made up "mist" and "fog" and such.
