Mom had another surgery today
I guess this one was even more involved than the lumpectomy. They put some dye in the large lymph node near the affected breast, and were checking to see if it was clean.

I guess if it isn't clean, they're going to remove the node.

For the lumpectomy, she was awake. This time, she's under.


Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers.

7. UPDATE:
The doc removed the lymph node. I guess they were planning on removing it no matter what. They are going to do a biopsy, but the doctor said he thought it looked good.

He was right about the lump when he said he thought it looked like cancer, so I'm taking his latest prediction as a good sign.

Mom is home, alert, and in very good spirits.
