I'm as die hard a music snob, anarcho punk hybrid hyphen whatever rocker as you're likely to find.

And as much as the 15 year old me would kick my ass now, I've come to appreciate a good, slick, over processed pop song for the pure confection that it is. I would have never said this about NKOTB when they were actually in their prime and performing but to tell you the truth I'd probably reach for the off button a lot quicker if I heard a Limp Bizkit or Korn song come on the radio than I would an NKOTB or even a Britney Spears tune.

Honestly I think this revelation came to me once the whole contrived angst thing became popular and just as manufactured and by the numbers as anything written by Max Martin or released on J records.
