Cat help!
Last night Cosmo barfed a lot. This morning his nose is drippin'. He's still eating, running around chasing Ricco, but I'm concerned.

We are taking him in to the vet today.

One thing that might be a factor, with the remodel there is a lot saw dust in one of the bedrooms that is being done and the cats have been playing in there a lot.

Any thoughts?

1. Just get the cat to the vet.
DUers are smart, but this is a vet problem.

2. The fun part will be getting him in the cat carry.

5. Easy: Wrap a towel around the cat and slide him in.

But don't cover his face! Just wrap him like an eggroll.

3. sounds like a normal
histamine reaction to the sawdust. post-nasal drip will cause cats to vomit; if the discharge is clear, it indicates no bacterial infection.

won't hurt to take him in to get ck'd, though.

4. It is clear.
But I want to take him in any.

I'll probably end up with the cat getting this too.

8. Thanks
I just worry about my babies. After Mickey died, I freak anytime they act out of the norm.

10. You've gotten good advice here, Ronny
However, some cats just barf a lot; case in point, my Hepburn. He throws up almost every day and I've taken him to specialists about it (he's now 12-1/2). After about $300 or so, the doctor finally told me, "Some cats just vomit frequently." I just had to share that; as a devoted cat person, I thought you'd appreciate it.;)

Lil' Cosmo should be seen by a vet as soon as you can get him in. Keep us posted and good luck! :hi:
