I am very depressed today.
The polling data is making me doubt whether there ever will be a non-fscist government in the USA again, and I am feeling very down about it. :(

1. Listen, polls lie, it's only August, debates haven't happened yet, and
the US continues to deteriorate under the bush plan. Kerry is CLEARLY the better candidate, the country is CLEARLY in trouble under junior, and Kerry is gonna' win, DESPITE their antics.

2. I wouldn't get worried until October.
The polls in October are the ones I watch, but I still take them with a grain of salt. We just have to keep working as hard as we can to get the truth out about boosh until the election.

3. Polls are so very susceptible to so many problems.
Take heart... most Republicans I know don't even want to argue anymore due to their shame at what a miserable failure Bu$hCo has been.

Public opinion isn't anything to worry about. Lack of audit trails... that I can't help you with. I get depressed about that regularly.

4. Kerry's going to kick ass. The alternative is an impossibility
of physics. Imagine Einstein's alive: his head would explode if Bush were elected in Nov.

5. put things into perspective Ben
It's still very early. Polls are skewed, always skewed. As soon as that moron gets on the debate stage Kerry is going to destroy him.

We are the silent majority.

6. These polls are crap
In my experience, I have talked to a lot of people who voted for bush last election and are going with Kerry this election. Many say "anybody but bush". I see a lot more Kerry stickers and hear more stories of people changing sides.
I wouldn't let this depress you. Not this early in the game...just keep fighting the good fight.
Truth is...we will never get out of the grip of the fascists, but we can make small dents in the system and try to make our lives and the lives of the future a little better.
Money is power and always has been.

7. These polls are bad for Bush...not Kerry
Look at Bush's numbers...they are stuck in the mid 40's in virtually all of the Battleground states...even states where he should be way ahead like, Ohio, Missouri, and Virginia he canot break 50%. The margin is not important yet, what is important is Bush's consistently low level of support. Kerry is going to ultimately pick up most of the undecideds...cheer up...these polls are Good News!!!

8. I'm scared of the same thing, ben.
We'll work for six months if Bush gets elected, and then we'll be heading to Europe or Canada. I have the horrible luck of graduating in december and won't have any money. So we'll have to save up for a while. But then we're gone.

9. I know too many republicans here in Florida....
....who are voting for Kerry. This uplifts me. I don't consider them in the "likely voter" group as they are registered repubs and are "likely" to vote for Bush.
Kerry is an excellent closer. I wish everyone could have seen the Weld/Kerry debates for senate seat. Kerry is ruthless.

10. I hear you Ben
It's not so much the polling data that bothers me as that anyone, even conservative Republicans, believe a single word this administration says. All the lies, all the deceit and treachery and hate, the arrogance displayed to the democratic idea... and these people, way too many people, are just eating it up.

13. Allow me to prognosticate
These polls are the result of the SBVT lies next week when the backlash comes home to roost the polls will again favor Kerry.
The Repuke Convention will only serve to push Bush further from the reality of what is going on in this country. He will end up looking like the childish liar that he is living in denial of his own actions.
Soon the national media will realize that Bush* is a lost cause and no longer feel the need to prop him up .

19. This whole "Swift Boat" crap is going to end soon.
I mean, how many damn times do we have to hear that the "Swift Boat Vets" are a bunch of damn liars?

People are getting sick of this story already. It's just the same thing, regurgitated over and over. The American people are getting tired of this. Period.

16. I don't see how the polls can be even anywhere near close
Look at it this way, Gore won the popular vote. Do you know ANYONE who has switched TO Bush?? I don't get it. I think it is a setup so we won't investigate when they fix the election.

17. Ben,
Don't worry, be happy.

We are gonna crush the boosh regime and make it one for the history books.

The real sweat will come as we put the final nails in the coffins of the reaganites over the next few years, as they will try again to make it hard for the Democrats to "Return the government to the People".

Kerry On!

20. Gallup polls are inherently conservative
Which means Kerry is winning and will win.

So buck up...Help Is On The Way!
