Well, I've officially sold out
I just sent an email query about a communications job. UGH.....oddly though, it pays A HELL of alot more than where I am now, and I'd be in Vancouver.

3. Not being a reporter anymore
AS much as I hate this town, I love my job. It does get stressful though.

5. There's a difference between selling out and maximizing value for
your skills.

Unless youa re utterly offended by communications jobs, then it could be selling out.

But still, if that is the case, I'd still say you aren't selling out since you KNOW you've chosen something evil, and therefore won't be swayed by it.

Selling out, to me, implies that you do what you hate but you don't care about it; you embrace that which you previously knew to be wrong.

6. I guess
Yay, I haven't sold out....I uh...bought in.

I doubt I'll get it anyway. Plus the idea of communications scares me... I don't know what it'd be like.

7. You know - it's terrible - life I mean
I have another friend who needs a job in this field. I'd love to tell her. But in my position, I can't. I have to look out for myself first.
