9. Voted for slightly toasted, but here's an "Other"

I may be weird, but here's a way I sometimes eat them (or did when I was younger.)

Take one big 'mallow, or several mini's, and smoosh them between your fingers. It's easy at first, but then gets a bit messy as the powder coating is overtaken by the internal stickiness. Keep smooshing until all the air bubbles are out and the mass is more like chewing gum. Now eat it.

It's got a different taste, like it's a totally different substance.

Actually, I used to do that all the time. For the record, I used to love Campfire marshmallows when they came in a box, back in the early sixties. Hard to believe they ever packed them that way, considering how quickly they must have gotten stale, but on the other hand, it was much easier to stack them in shelves. Anyway, I also loved to squish the air out of marshmallows and then eat them. I could squish them for days! (Well, minutes, anyway.)
