The grandkids are here tonight and I'm going to start kicking ass
They're driving me nuts tonight. The little Vampire's sleep til 2:00 p.m. and are up until 3 or 4. Running back and forth, throwing the ball for the dog, slamming cabinet doors, eating cereal as if it will be banned tomorrow. Damnit!!! I want some QUIET!!!!

I have them stay with me every year for a few days to take them for school clothes but, this time their parents went on vacation and they're here for a week. They won't survise they don't straighten up!!!

I'm trying to catch up on the political news I missed today while taking them out shopping all day.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh that felt better.

Have to buy a new remote...they get sticky and don't work anymore if you spill OJ on them.

x(

1. How old are they?
The triplets (who are 3 1/2) like to invent their own games. Today, they were painting their parents' bedroom - fortunately without access to anything they could have used to draw/slime/whatever the walls.

4. My grandaughter is 14 and my grandson is 9.
At 3 they were easy...don't know how easy 3 - 3 year olds are and I don't want to know

Sounds like you had a fun day - Auntie ;)

7. Yikes!!!
Sadly, I heard all this about the triplets from their mother. I spent the day at work, where I mostly was in too-damn-long hot-air sessions -- AKA meetings.

8. Have they yet discovered the wonderful world of scissors?
Scissors make things change. Nail clippers can do in a pinch. Nail clippers cut just as good but the change they make is not as dramatic. Unless you have a lot of time.

But then, electric clippers! Wow, can they ever make some changes, but you have to work fast because the electric clippers make noise and someone stops the changes you are making. You should advise the triplets to stick with scissors. They are very quiet.

10. LOL thanks...for reminding me about scissors.
My own adventures with them, my son, and the grands. Must be a right of passage of all children, lol.

"Your ass is grass and I'm a lawn mower"....They knew she was serious

11. Oh, she spoiled them alright, especially the boys...
but they knew when she was serious and reacted quickly....Pretty much just like I did 40-45 years ago.

12. Oh No, no, no , no, no
Here's the poop. The grandchildren need to be trained immediately. You must nip this in the bud. You are not the Hilton for God sakes.

You don't need to be mean about it-but They need to be working around the house to help you out. I'm sure there are somethings that need to get done. Don't you have any weeding, deep cleaning the top shelves in your kitchen, scrubbing out the fridge kinds of chores you've been putting off. You have two extra sets of hands at your disposal.

I'm not kidding. In the long run they will have better memories of their visits with you and you'll have a cleaner house.
