Any computer pros here?
I haven't been on the computer too long, but have learned it pretty well. I am having a problem though with errors that come up all the time: "Your current security settings prevent running ActiveX controls on this page." I just click out of it and go on. Is this okay or should I be doing, or not be doing something?

1. Not a pro, but check your browser setting.
I think you'll find that your browser is set to high security and won't allow Active-X web components to run.

2. I'm sorry
I don't mean to be a pest, but is that a good thing or a bad thing? Do I want it set to high?

Thank you for the response!

3. Yes, it is your browser setting
But it might be a good setting for somebody who is new to computers. You should never download an ActiveX control unless you know exactly why you are doing it and know the source providing it is safe. Unless there is a reason you have chosen to download software for some purpose you understand, you should not be getting these warnings, because nobody should be trying to send you an ActiveX control. ActiveX controls can be used to do bad things to your computer, like load spyware or backdoors or any kind of evil thing an obnoxious 13-year-old hacker can come up with.
