AAR Streaming Computer Question: Is there a way to stay connected?
AAR Streaming Computer Question: Is there a way to stay connected?

AAR has now set it up so that you are shut off streaming automatically at 2 hours, in order to avoid paying for streaming when no one is listening. Understandable, yes. But, for those of us who want to stay tuned in via internet stream for many hours continuously, is there any way around this? Like maybe some kind of computer "macro" that could automatically tell real player or window media to connect again?

Just thought I'd ask.... Darn... I'd been using a low volume stream of morning sedition to wake me up in the morning, but can't really do that now...(much less keep it tuned continuously through several programs.)

1. Yeah, this is a bother
The least they could have done is make the cutoff 3 hours so we could stay tuned in through the longer shows though that'd still leave Randi out since her show is 4 hours. I can only suggest the affiliates streams. This guy supposedly has a live ogg vorbis stream (WinAmp will handle this) but I've never used it:

2. I have less of a problem with this when I am using Windows media
Player than Realplayer. I think this is a realplayer issue because I have had the same problem with many different programs using realplayer. I connect and get off and re-connect to fool them.
