I just celebrated my 205th post by donating to DU.
I ordered me a DU T-Shirt that I plan on wearing when I go to Denver to see the BRONCOS Sunday night game in September.

Seeing as COLORADO is supposed to be PRO-Bush, which I can't figure out for the life of me, I will let everyone know that I am in the know here at DU.

So if I can do it you can do it too.

1. i'd love to...

but i am on social security disability. $$$ kinda tight. it's kinda hard to be NOT ABLE to donate and then get called names for it. try and be a little more thoughtful.

2. I think it was aimed at those who CAN afford to donate but don't.

We've all been there and I have not been able to donate either due to the crappy ass Bush economy and outsourcing that sent my job to India. Someone was kind enough to donate a star for me, but even so I feel bad about not being able to donate even though I probably shouldn't.

the fact that it is openly differentiated-there is a cerain thinger...like "hmmm whats with them" since those who support have a star. i know i'm a n00b, and christ, i am blessed by ppl who have helped me w/ stuff, but how about a checkmark or an x or something for those unable to afford it and don't have someone to give on their behalf...i don't mind constantly reminding ppl i'm to poor to give non-verbally. but this makes me cry.
