Great band with a bad name thread

The band admits that 'Flaming Lips' was only a silly name meant to be temporary, but it stuck.

I was never too keen on "The Stranglers" either.

12. Husker Du actually means something though...

It means something like "do you remember" in Swedish. i think it's a great name, certainly better than "Sugar".
