Any Moby fans out there?
I am a HUGE Moby fan; I recently got into him with "18" and then worked backwards with "Play". However, as kick ass as both of those albums are, nothing compares to the "B sides" of "Play"- especially "The Whispering Wind", which might be one of the most heartbreaking songs ever.
Anyone else?

1. oddly
I always hated him. Even saw him in concert in the Area 2 tour and still hated him.

Then last week I saw "Bourne Supremacy". The closing credit song blew me away. I asked my BF who did it, and he said "Moby". I didn't believe him. I looked it up. It was Moby.

So I really really like at least ONE song of his.

2. What song was that?
Moby also did the ending song for "The Bourne Identity" ("Extreme Ways"), FYI.

3. Same song
I guess. It was "Extreme Ways" in Supremacy.

I saw the first movie on DVD and probably didn't pay attention to the credits. In the theater, for Supremacy, it had an impact on me. Very good song. I just don't think it seems to match the rest of his music with which I'm familiar.

4. hmm
Well, if you ever want to give him another shot, try "B sides". I think that may be import only from the UK though...

5. I've heard a lot of his music
I used to go to a small gym that played his stuff all the time. I found it horribly repetitive and annoying. But Extreme Ways was a real song that didn't just repeat the same riff over and over.

6. I can totally understand that
Moby is my "meditation" music...I wouldn't want to work out to any of his music :hi:

7. I like his music
It's kinda unusual. As you said, it would make good medititation music. I have a bunch of his mp3s on my computer.

He's also a good liberal and was a Kerry supporter from early on I think.
