After all summer without it, we just got our screen porch back!
My crew finished yesterday. All summer they have worked, corn-blasting the log house and painting it with a wood-guard product. They did the decks, and much-much more. All screens had to come down, due to the destructive nature of the corn-blasting. I had moved all the furniture from the large screen porch to the basement. Today I moved the furniture back into the pristine, re-screened porch. It is great. Dr. D's beloved porch swing, where she curls up and naps, is re-hung and the dining table is ready with a candle and fresh-cut flowers from my garden. Can't wait for her to get here on Saturday!

2. Yes, I'd love to see photos of it as well.
Sounds like a great house, DemoTex. You are very happy there it seems.

3. Extremely happy!
Sorry, no pics yet. Maybe I'll get a digital camera. I really need to.

4. That's great.
Re cameras, I am still with my old 35 mm SLRs. Hard to break old habits.

5. Me too.
I still use an Asahi Pentax 35mm with a 1.4 lens (try to find that now!) that I bought in the PX in Cam Rahn Bay. That makes it a 35 year-old 35mm.
