Wow, my August electric bill was $90!
One bedroom apartment.

Refrigerator on constantly. Stove et al used sparingly.

Air conditioner on 24/7.

TWO computers on 24/7, though the monitors were turned off most of the time.

TV used regularly.

$90 for real?!

Thank God for autumn, I won't need a/c to rack up the expensive bills any longer.

4. Bloody 'ell! My shrink was shocked when I told him I normally pay $40/mo
I live in Stillwater MN, 1/2 mile from the power plant.

At $40/mo he still thinks I'm paying too much!!

Glad I'm not in California or these other states, the prices are beyond asinine!

2. $150 here in Boston
Central Air on 24/7 during the week-we're gone on weekends. Our living space is small too.

It's ridiculous how much electricity is now.

9. Good Grief!
That's obnoxious!

I ran my AC all month, day and night, and my last bill was $180 - which is high for me.

6. Two bedroom house
a/c on most of the time during the day and half the night. A fridge that leaks, so it runs most of the time. Washer and dryer used frequently. Last month: $50 bill. Not bad. In wintertime, it quadruples.

10. I average 60 a month in Tennessee
Small house, a/c unit 24/7.

Things I do to save useage. Water heater timer- only on 4 hours a day. I put gallon jugs of water in my fridge, they build thermal mass. I keep the lights off as much as possible and turn off stuff when finished.

14. Good grief!!
I'm pretty sure once you break $140-150 a month, you're in the territory where financing some off-the-grid solar stuff would pay off! ...Even if it ain't so sunny where you live. Look it up -- you might win in the long run!
