I got all of my grievances out of my system while living in Europe . It was time to let everything go .

1. No, fearful

afraid of the Atom Bomb, afraid when my parents broke up, afraid of death (don't drag a little kid to a funeral-it creeps them out for a long time), afraid of ghosts....you get the idea.

who told me that the world was coming to an end and I have not been right ever since lol .

4. I LOVE Funerals!

And I loved being taken to them as a child, never creeped me out. It's my favourite setting for meeting with family, everyone is so calm and quiet and polite and you can really have some GREAT conversations (and food) in the post-deceased mourning. :bounce:

6. Were you taken up to the corpse

and told that it looked like it could sit up and say hi? When you were 8? And then have to sit in the front row during the sermon looking at it wondering if it would happen? That's why I was creeped out.

7. I WAS Taken Up To the Corpse...

you HAVE to do that, it's a way of showing your respet. kneel before it, bow your head, say a prayer, even kiss the dearly departed if you want to.

and yes some of my PEERS once tried to tell me that the corpse might pop up and say HELLO but I never believed them, and no adult ever told me that. :)

3. I Was An Only Child.

Nothing scares me. When you have nothing but you, yourself, and your imagination to keep you company and entertained for hours a day, for weeks and months on end, you learn to be pretty calm.

5. Hey I was the only child for 12 1/2 years ...

so I too had nothing to do but me ,myself and my imagination. And yeah I am severely messed up psychologically as well LOL :hi:

8. Yes. Blame goes to my freeper father and his authoritarian ways.

But, hey, I'm past that. Gave me practice for real life.

9. I was a very happy child

Loving parents (one with a temper, but no biggie), great bro and a superlative golden retriever. Made some good neighbor/school friends too. :D
