11. I had three Starland Vocal Band albums...
...as well as Welcome to Fat City, which is who they were before they were SVB.

But then, I was addicted to dollar vinyl.

Oh, and Mallrat:

Afternoon Delight

I guess he'd rather be in Colorado

and...yes...

Take Me Home, Country Roads

So yes...they do suck...

But I really loved the idea that everybody just loved that cute, well harmonized song about--sex in the afternoon. (I feel the same way about Henry Gross's 'Shannon'...that soaring, sensitive ballad about--Brian Wilson's dead dog--)

13. NO they did not suck.. Ignore Afternoon Delight..
I had the chance to see them in concert (warm up to a John Denver concert)...their acapella harmonies were huge. "Boulder to Birmingham" is one of my favorite songs.

so...I respectfully disagree...they were terrific!
