And I'm at work. At least they're both black oxfords.

One with a u-shaped seam on top and one without.

It was a long weekend.

Guess I'll just keep my feet under my desk.

Perhaps I should edit the Subject Line to read: I'm wearing mismatched shoes to work, ask me anything.

1. And I'll bet you have another pair just like them at home
With left and right reversed, of course.

2. O well my friend
It happens.

But that is what you get for owning more than one pair of black shoes.

One pair of tennies, one black and one brown- helps with the confusion

6. I've got a pair of tennies out in the car.
I guess I could slip them on and say I've got a sprained toe, or something.

I really need to invest in a shoe tree.

9. And I've got a sock that statically clinging to my shirt.
The only thing worse than Monday's are Tuesday's after a Holiday weekend.

4. I thought only women did that
LOL!

I guess you should try to open your eyes when getting dressed.

7. This morning was unusual.

I drove in, I usually take the train.

I'm hanging out downtown this evening, instead of going home.

I brought a change of clothes including shoes, but I can't wear them at work.

Everybody is back-to-school as of today and the house was a whirlwind of activity. I wasn't even paying attention.

I'm surprised it's never happened before.

Actually, I'm feeling pretty braindead after the long weekend. I went to a BBQ on Saturday and spent 9 hours eating and drinking and I still haven't quite recovered.

8. So does that mean
you have to wear your mismatched dress shoes at work again tomorrow?

Sounds like a good time, but unfortunately our bodies just don't seem to recover like they used to. Remember when you could do that and then be ready to start all over again the next day. Sigh... Those were the days. ;-)

10. No. I'll be sleeping at home tonight.
I stay late on Tuesdays because I have rehearsal at 7 on the Near North Side.

a couple of months ago I came to work with two different shoes - not similar but the different pair, no. One loafer and one oxford. Thankfully they were close to the same color.

Hardly moved from my desk at all that day.
