11. Someone was on something:
When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars

This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius
The age of Aquarius
Aquarius!
Aquarius!

Harmony and understanding
Sympathy and trust abounding
No more falsehoods or derisions
Golden living dreams of visions
Mystic crystal revalation
And the mind's true liberation
Aquarius!
Aquarius!

When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars

This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius
The age of Aquarius
Aquarius!
Aquarius!

I was in the womb for most of 1968
RFK, MLK assassinations, the Chicago convention, etc., etc. I think it shaped much of my political philosophy for life.:hi:

Three weeks and counting, right, MS?

20. Three weeks? Heh?
If you are talking about school starting, school started here on Wednesday, August 11. So last week.

But I am no longer in the classroom, I am the district literacy strategist, which means I work with/help the middle school English teachers and conduct staff development sessions (I know what you are thinking, but mine are GOOD and NOT BORING, I swear!!!).

24. 8/11? Wow, that's early.
The Chicago public schools start on the 9/7. I have been told by several teachers, however, that significant number of the kids don't actually meander in until the following Monday.

"Staff development" does sound as if it could go either way, but you appear to be a creative person, so I'll buy the "not boring" angle!

26. BLOODY AS THE DAY I WAS BORN!!!!
The sun is shining hard at my feet
And the city is an animal ready to eat

It's raining like a nose bleed, cigarettes and sweets
And I feel it coming on
Bloody as the day I was born

It's 1974
Just like the day I was born
It's 1974

She isn't crazy
She's just not impressed
She stabs me with her eyes
Dirty knives hidden in her dress

And it's raining like bombs in my room when I'm alone
And I swear I think I knew you before
Just like the day I was born

It's 1974
Just like the day I was born
It's 1974
Just like the day I was born
It's 1974
Just like the day I was born
It's 1974

Do you want it, do you want it, do you want it, come on
Do you want it, do you want it, come on just bring it on
Nothing gonna stop it now
But nothing
Do you want it, come on
Do you want it, do you want it, come on just bring it on

It's 1974
It's 1974
It's 1974
It's 1974
