Who's been through Monument Valley?
If everything holds we'll be there next month and I'm wondering whats the must see there. We'll be traveling east towards New Mexico.

1. You'll see some beautiful rock formations but
be prepared for an extremely bumpy ride and lots and lots of dust.

3. I was there just last month
and it's pretty cool to look at, but we didn't linger.

Red dirt, red dirt, red dirt, red dirt, red dirt as far as the eye can see.

Did I mention red dirt everywhere?

4. Must be alot of red dirt
That's on the return trip we're making a circuit, with the old man living in Bloomfield that's on the way. I've been up and sown I40, it's time for something different.

5. Yes
red dirt as far as the eye can see and not a lot of vegetation. Almost other-worldly in places.

It was beautiful but I found it a tad depressing that people LIVE there.
