I didn't think this should go in GD, but it's also a little dark, so I hope it's not going to spoil the mood here in the lounge...

The John Kerry icon thingy that various people have in their posts, over the last while, each time I see it it makes an impression, and I haven't really thought about what the impression was, until just the other day, I realized that I always thought it was John Kerry pointing a gun at his head, like sort of the world's tightest circular firing squad.

I can't be held directly responsible for my impressions, so sorry, but I thought someone might not mind reading about it.
